Below are some of the most costly and/or deadly weather events in Pennsylvania's history. Over the past century, the worst of these events have been record rainfall, snowfall, tornado and hurricane-caused conditions. Billions of dollars in damages and thousands of deaths were a result of these extreme events. Each of these natural disasters have left a mark in the history of the state.
