Contains occurrences of significant snowfall in the mid-Atlantic region.

Event Criteria: Single Storm

Occurrence Criteria: Six inch or greater storm total snowfall in select cites for select major storms.

Sources: NCDC Daily Weather Records, NCDC Daily Weather Maps, Kocin & Uccellini's Northeast Snowstorms


NOTES:

Spatial Averaging Bias: Slightly more select cites in PA than in other states.

Multiple Datasources: This table contains data from multiple data sources that may have varying inclusion criteria.

Only one time (height of the storm) is listed per event.
