Contains occurrences of strong synoptic (non-thunderstorm) winds in the mid-Atlantic region.

Event Criteria: Consecutive Days

Occurrence Criteria: As classified by NCDC storm events database; all have wind speeds greater than 39 mph and occur from Oct-Mar.

NOTES:

Only one peak wind value per event (the maximum).

Only one damage value per event.
