Contains occurrences of record cold in the mid-Atlantic region.

# Events: 1201 (435 with >= 10 occurrences)

Event Criteria: Consecutive Days

Occurrence Criteria: Daily temperature is greater than 2 standard deviations from long term mean.

Sources: Daily weather archives for ASOS and COOP sites.

NOTES:

All times listed as 12 Z, since lowest temperature typically occurs during the early morning.
